Rise and shine, early birds! Breakfast is served at our 2nd floor breakfast venue – always with delicious coffee and warm Finnish ambiance. We are creating the breakfast experience as we speak with the local Helsinki community, let's see what we come up with!

“When I started planning breakfast at Hobo Helsinki, I began with what I personally value most: excellent bread and pastries. That became the foundation of our concept, and I was lucky to hire our own in-house baker. Good accompaniments matter just as much – fresh vegetables and fruits, flavorful spreads, and small twists on classics, such as scrambled eggs with parmesan and chives.
A core principle is making as much as possible in-house, because otherwise food ends up tasting the same everywhere. We produce house-made jams, pickles, and other seasonal items, and we like to highlight local specialties. One example is vispipuuro, whipped semolina porridge with changing seasonal flavors, as well as oatmeal slow-cooked overnight from whole oat grains.
We focus strongly on high-quality plant-based products, and when meat is served, it should be excellent and preferably locally sourced. Developing a hotel breakfast is something I truly enjoy: finding the balance between creativity and familiarity, quality and cost, and continuously improving through guest feedback."
