WHERE IS HOBO HELSINKI LOCATED?
We are located in Kluuvi, right in the city center of Helsinki, close to all the main attractions and a 5 to 10 minute stroll from the central train station.
HOW CAN I PAY?
We are a cash free hotel. Card is king!
HOW DO I GET TO HOBO FROM THE AIRPORT?
There are several ways to get to us:
Public transport works very well in Helsinki - commuter trains I and P are both going directly from the airport to the city center - the trip will take just a bit over half an hour, and the ticket costs 4.10€ / adult (10/2024 rates). From the Helsinki Central Station (the terminus of the airport trains) there’s just approx. 5 - 10 minute walk to Hobo.
Taxis are well available from the airport - although it is advisable to check the fares in advance, as different taxi companies can charge very different fares. Many companies have also fixed rates to/from the airport. The taxi ride from the airport will take approx 30 minutes to the hotel.
WHERE DO I PARK MY CAR?
Hobo has cooperation with Europark P-Kluuvi public parking garage.
The garage works on a camera system, so the car can just be driven into the parking garage. The plate number must be communicated to the reception, and the parking pass can be added in 24H installments.
The cost of the parking is 35 € / day [24 hours from the moment of driving in].
The location and the opening times of the garage are:
- Driving in : Fabianinkatu 27, 00100 Helsinki
- Drive in open : 06:00 - 24:00
- Drive out possible : 24H (in case the doors are locked, they can be opened by writing the plate number without possible hyphens to the screens by the garage doors)
WHEN DO WE SERVE BREAKFAST?
Monday–Friday: 07.00–10.00
Saturday–Sunday & public holidays: 08.00–11.00
WHEN IS CHECK-OUT?
Check out is at 12:00/noon, but if you want to have a lazy morning you can add a late check out at 14:00 for 20€, upon availability of course. Just let us know and we’ll add it to your room.
HOW DOES THE CLEANING CONCEPT WORK?
To be nice to our planet, we only clean the rooms on request. This is to save water and resources for the sake of the environment, but the cleaning is of course included in the room rate when preferred. You can just let us know anytime you’d like to have the cleaning done - and if you tell us the latest 2PM (14.00), the room can still be cleaned during the same day.
CAN I BRING MY PET DURING MY STAY?
Absolutely! Bring your furry friends, we love it when you do. The only thing is that we will charge you 15€ cleaning fee / pet / room / night.
WHAT IS THE WAY TO GET AROUND IN TOWN?
We love that question, but it needs to be answered in a proper way – therefore all our rooms have a curated city map, use it for insider tips and if you want more, just come down to us and we’ll love to have a chat about it. We also sell public transport tickets and day passes at our reception for easy access to public transport.

Please send us an email at stay@hobohotel.fi and we will come as soon as possible. You can also call or WhatsApp us - you’ll find the number on the info poster in your room or on our website.
AND IF I NEED A WAKE-UP CALL?
It’s possible to have this from the TV. Put it on and choose “Wake me up”. Our reception is also happy to assist with this - and we can create the wake-up from our service end of the TV-system.
CAN I BUY THE THINGS IN MY ROOM?
If you see something that you want to bring home with you, you can buy it in our shop downstairs in the reception. The price list is also visible in our reception area.
WHERE IS THE GYM?
The gym is located on the K1 floor and you have access to it with your room key, it’s open 24/7.
IRONING AND LAUNDRY
We have the steamers available in all of our guest rooms by default. Ironing boards and irons can be provided per requests to the rooms, should you prefer to have a little more old-fashioned style to fix your clothing to be wrinkle-free.
CAN I OPEN THE WINDOWS IN MY ROOM?
For safety reasons, the windows cannot be opened in any of our rooms.
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT TO STAY AT HOBO?
Yes. Minors (children under 18 years old) will be needing a written consent form from parents / legal guardians prior to their arrival in order to check-in without an adult staying with us. The guardians will also commit to covering any possible additional costs the minor might create during their stay - as well as confirming they understand the hotel will not be in any way liable for the minor during their stay.
