Tässä Hetkessä photo walk event with a panel discussion on Sat 3.10.

Helsinki belongs to everyone and so does the act of documenting it. We are opening our doors for Tässä Hetkessä, eng. “Right here, right now”, a street photography project built around curiosity and community.

Join us on Saturday, October 3rd for a panel discussion and city photo walk. We will dive into topics like sustaining creativity, moving through creative blocks, and learning how to price and sell your own art. The event starts with discussion at 16:00 with a lineup of Tuomas Valtanen, Saija Elina, Ilkka Kärkkäinen & Jasmina Puumala. @tuomasvaltanenphoto @mymood.photo @ilkkago @hobohel. The panel will be in Finnish. 
We’ll then head to the city for a photo walk 17:30-19:00. The event is hosted by @tommiviitala, @tannwashere, @hobohel and photo walk by @kamerastore & @hennavahaphoto and supported by @ninankuvamaailma

The moments captured during the walk will turn into a group exhibition hosted at Hobo throughout November (save the date for the opening party on 31st of Oct). Every single participant gets the chance to show their work here. Beyond that, every photographer selected for the group exhibition gets the chance for their work to be purchased to Hobo Helsinki’s permanent collection, with the idea of giving many emerging photographers their first paid commission.
